The Orange County Water District manages the water supply in Orange County though a thoughtful and comprehensive operation that is among the most sophisticated in the world. LR/LA was tasked to prove their expertise in a visitors' center. Instead of starting by trying to explain the complex science of water management, we first proposed (what appeared to be) simple questions to visitors, like " Where does Orange Counties' water come from?" and "Is water a manufactured product?". These simple questions became windows to the essential deep science as well make OCWD look like the experts they are.

OCWD's story is brought to life through three-dimensional layering of content, digital media presentations and hands-on interactive. The presentation is intended to serves a "thee-dimensional powerpoint presentation" for the staff that leads tours to orient visitors to the "big picture" before walking through the water processing plant.
